Launch of Uganda Prisons Gymnastics Club

The Uganda Prisons Service, in partnership with the Uganda Gymnastics Federation, is in the final stages of launching the Uganda Prisons Gymnastics Club. Scheduled for August 2025, this initiative will establish a formal gymnastics program within the prison system, focused on discipline, rehabilitation, and athletic empowerment.
The club is expected to serve as both a training ground for talented inmates and a model for institutional sports development in Uganda. The club will also open doors to inter-institutional gymnastics competitions and national team scouting.
