The Uganda Gymnastics Federation is proud to announce that its President, Ms Harriet Ayaa, has been selected as Uganda’s Chef de Mission at the upcoming 4th African Youth Games. This prestigious event will be held in Angola from 10th to 20th December 2025.
In preparation for successful Games, the CDMs of the participating countries held a planning meeting, from18 to 22 September 2025, to iron out issues including venue selection, medical and antidoping protocol, transport and immigration, the technical aspects of the competitions, accreditation and athlete accommodation. The CDMs were able to discuss these issues, inspect the various venues and provide feedback on how to improve the event’s organisation.
As the UGF builds its capacity, we see this visit and these Games as an opportunity to learn and prepare ourselves to raise gymnastic teams that can compete at this level on the continent and beyond.
