1 October 2025 marked a vital milestone in the partnership between UGF, FrederickFlips Foundation and Uganda Prisons in Luzira. The UGF Executive Committee had the pleasure of visiting and inspecting sports facilities at the Uganda Prisons in anticipation of the receipt of gymnastic equipment and the establishment of the Uganda Prisons gymnastics club. The equipment was generously donated by the FrederickFlips Foundation, established by USA Olympian Frederick Richard to support the growth of gymnastics in less developed settings.
UGF was represented by President Harriet Ayaa, Secretary General Emilly Dunia, Committee Member Clara Amaguru and Head of Acrobatic Gymnastics Hassan Rice Masembe. We look forward to growing this partnership further in the future.
